Daily Ag Direction 6/18/25
Good Morning!
A quiet morning across most markets as the world waits to see what President Trump does in regard to the Israel/Iran situation; and the burning question of does the US military step in? The trade will keep an eye on the shipping routes in the Middle East, and if conflict escalates, how does it affect global trade?
As we look at the current market, it seems that we have entered a holding pattern. Wheat harvest has started in a few areas, but the weather has put a damper on it. Lots of rainfall over the Southern Plains, primarily in Northern Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas has got the harvest moving at a slower pace than what we have seen historically.
Reminder: markets will be closed tomorrow in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
